Sara Does India

What I want to get in India: silks, spices, the Black Death. What I will probably get in India: food poisoning, heatstroke, too much work. What you probably want from this blog: gory details of interpersonal relationships. What you will probably get from this blog: a candid description of my travels and thoughts, sans (too much) drama.

continued lameness

I have much to share, but nothing of importance, and I'm extremely tired. So, I am going to go to bed instead of writing. I will write tomorrow, I promise. I apologize, and I look forward to many comments to this incredibly lame post when I wake up tomorrow.

Hello, good lady! My name is Gladys McKinnion and I found your website while I was looking for information on Indian life and the plight of the expatriate. When I was in my twenties, I always wanted to be an expatriate in a foreign land. But alas, that was when I was young and free. Now, I've aged poorly and my collection of Georgette Heyer novels is yellowed and torn. I love reading of your adventures in the South of Asia. Do write more.

    And enjoy Europe with Clodagh...

I have this to say...Even tho these posts of late are worthless. At least your family and friends know you are alive and have not gotten in a row boat to sail off into the sunset with 6 random men on some adventure. Oh, the little ones send love to Auntie Sara

Sooooo, you don't have time to write and thus make idle promises for future posts. Is this just a trick to see if anyone is reading your blog? Judging from the number of comments you've had in the last couple of days, I think it's working! We need more info soon!

    Hi,

I am Quincy Cullum. I am the Co-Founder and Undersecretary for a group called Families Understanding and Communicating Knowledge. We are trying to keep the World Wide Interweb safe from obscenity and pornography. I have been scouring weblogs all around the World Wide Web to find family-friendly and safe websites for parents and children to enjoy together. I wanted to commend you on your frank perspective on India. Your weblog's title, "Sara Does India" does raise some concerns. Some parents think it's a sexual reference. That doesn't stop me, however, from sharing your posts at our weekly meetings at the local church. Everyone waits with bated breath for you next post!

Dearest sister, I should have a slideshow up by tonight (my time) that you can link to for all of your friends to see. Maybe Letterman could make a game, "Hick or Not a Hick?" It is now 11am in Iowa, and time for me to do something constructive.

Hmm, after commenting this morning, I came downstairs only to find 2 family vehicles missing, 2 parents missing, and dad's cell phone laying by the computer. So I have no idea as to their whereabouts, further investigation is needed. I do however, know now what woke me up about half an hour ago, had I heard the phone I might have answered and spoken to you. Oh well. So I think I am going to shower and look for the ‘rents, but do try to call again. And for the record, 9:10pm-10.5hrs=10:40am, not 11:40am. I think. But what do I know? I mean, last night I think I gave a midget $8 to go up on me.
